Job Vacancy: Housekeeper

The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our establishment, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replace linens and amenities in guest rooms as needed, ensuring a fresh and inviting atmosphere for incoming guests.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as shampooing carpets, washing windows, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
- Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel, including hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and amenities in guest rooms and public areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to hotel management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Uphold the hotel’s reputation for cleanliness and quality by consistently delivering high standards of service.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
